“Twilight” author, Stephenie Meyer, has released a brand new “Twilight” novel to celebrate the book’s 10th anniversary, and it includes a major twist.
In “Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined,” Meyer swapped the genders of her main characters, including lovebirds Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.
In the new novel, Beau Swan falls in love with the mysterious Edythe Cullen, whom he will eventually discover is a vampire. Werewolf Jacob Black also becomes Julie in the book.
Meyer explained that “she wanted to do something fun for the 10th anniversary,” and disprove critics who claimed that Bella was a “damsel in distress.”
The new book is now available in bookstores.
