Fresh off a remarkable weekend at the VMAs, BTS has their sights set on taking over their next awards show.

In an online press conference, BTS said their next goal is to perform at the GRAMMYs. “We went to the Grammys at the beginning of the year and did a collaborative performance. Now I would like to do a single performance with just BTS on the Grammy awards stage,” Suga said.

“It would be great to receive an award, but that’s not going to become a reality just because we want it. For now, just getting to perform on the Grammy award stage is our goal.”

The K-Pop stars performed for the first time at the MTV Video Music Awards this past Sunday making them the first Korean musical group to perform at all four major American music award shows.

“The Grammy awards are what all performers dream of,” RM said. “Of course we’d like to perform there. It would be great to receive the award — that is the direction we should be headed for.”

BTS had just set another milestone when they got the news their song “Dynamite” debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

It marks the first number one debut for the group and the first time an all-South Korean group has topped the charts with their debut.

They also took home four awards at the VMAs for Best Group, Best Pop, Best K-Pop, and Best Choreography.
