Watch Oprah Winfrey Give Commencement Speech During Facebook’s Graduation 2020 Livestream

Oprah Winfrey is offering her words of wisdom to this year’s high school graduates.

The media mogul will deliver the commencement speech during Facebook’s virtual #Graduation2020 event on Friday.

The event was organized to help seniors celebrate their graduations virtually as most schools have canceled commencement ceremonies due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The star-studded ceremony is happening today beginning at 2:30 pm ET/11:30 am PT on Facebook Watch. Highlights will be available on Instagram.

“The Office” stars Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak will co-host the event. Other celebrities scheduled to appear include Jennifer Garner, Cardi B, Amy Schumer, Andy Cohen, Gloria Estefan, Kristen Bell, Luke Bryan, Matthew McConaughey, and Selena Gomez, among others.

Miley Cyrus is also scheduled to perform her 2009 hit “The Climb.”

Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg will give an introduction prior to Oprah’s speech.

On Saturday, former President Barack Obama will deliver a commencement speech to graduates in a televised special entitled “Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020.”

The program will air on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX at 8pm ET.

In June, Obama will be joined by wife Michelle Obama in delivering a commencement addresses for another virtual graduation ceremony organized by YouTube.

The event which their appearances will headline is “Dear Class of 2020,” an original special from YouTube that will stream on Saturday, June 6, on the YouTube Originals channel and YouTube’s Learn@Home site, reports Variety.
