Event Description:

Glow has been making the holidays bright for nearly a decade, beckoning all ages to enjoy the sensations of the season. The indoor/outdoor celebration will glow even brighter this year when it returns to the Cleveland Botanical Garden Friday, November 23 and runs through Saturday, January 5.

Glow will be open until 8pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday to allow visitors more time to experience enhanced outdoor lighting.  The greatly expanded outdoor lighting will include color changing lights and motion effects.

Traditional Glow favorites return too.  Dozens of fragrant fir trees, meticulously decorated for the season by garden clubs from throughout Northeast Ohio, will line the halls.  Whimsical, hand-crafted gingerbread houses, created by families and professionals, will showcase festive creativity from the community.

Other Glow highlights include:

  • A two-story-tall decorated fir tree perfect for family photos
  • Outdoor train rides for children on the Garden Express train
  • Evergreen Adventures family play area with make-it take-it craft stations
  • More than 1,000 holiday plants including amaryllis, white hydrangeas and poinsettias
  • Seasonal refreshments for purchase in the Garden Café including adult and children’s beverages
  • One-of-a-kind holiday gifts for purchase in the Garden Store

Glow is open 10am to 6pm Tuesday and Wednesday; 10 am – 8 pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday; and noon – 6pm Sunday. The Botanical Garden is closed on Monday, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Glow admission is $16 per adult, $12 per child age 3 to 12, and free for children 2 and under. Admission is free for Holden Forests & Gardens members.

Glow tickets are available online, at the Botanical Garden ticket desk or by calling 216-721-1600, ext. 110. Advance ticket purchase is not required.  The Botanical Garden is located at 11030 East Blvd., Cleveland, Ohio.  Indoor parking is available for a fee based on availability.
