Winter Wonderland Cleveland

Cleveland, OH 44114

Event Description:

Winter Wonder Cleveland (WWC), the city’s newest winter attraction and first ever pop-up selfie museum, is open to the public! Tickets for the limited run attraction go on sale today.

Based on similar concepts in New York, Los Angeles and other major cities, this pop-up houses ten larger than life installations all designed as visual photo backdrops for groups of families and friends. The attraction is located at the Hamilton Collaborative Building and runs daily through January 12. Platform Beer Co., Vitamix, B.A. Sweeties Candy and Bakersfield taco have already come aboard as sponsors.

Guests can purchase tickets online and select from a number of different arrival times for their group. Each time slot is limited to a small group of people to ensure a quality experience. Organizers expect popular time slots to sell out quickly so groups are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to ensure an available time.

How to get tickets and for more information

Groups will progress through the exhibits together, remaining with friends and family during the entire experience. Tickets may also be purchased at the venue, however, advance purchase is strongly encouraged. Waiting rooms and gathering lobbies at the beginning and the end of the “museum” will offer additional activities, music and food and beverage for purchase. Each room will be furnished with photo equipment and assistance designed to help groups take the perfect “selfie” or Instagram-tailored image to document the experience. Some examples of installations and exhibits to expect:

  • An oversized snow globe that you step inside
  • A giant swing that projects you out on a pendulum over the Cleveland skyline
  • Three full size Olympic curling tracks where you can try your hand at the quirky Canadian sport
  • An enormous ship that sways and rocks as if it is in the middle of the ocean
  • A mirrored holiday tree room
  • Other displays that combine appealing winter imagery, great lighting, group challenges and subtle nods to some favorite holiday movies and traditions

Organizers are expecting a number of families along with groups of friends of all ages to visit the attraction. “It’s something different to do this winter, and it’s truly fun for groups of all ages,” said organizer and Cleveland native Jason Percival. “It’s a unique opportunity to get one-of-a-kind photos for your social media feeds or just to have on your phone.”

The event is priced variably for peak and non-peak times, and kids are always discounted. Groups seeking a private event such as a holiday party or team-building event can always be accommodated and are encouraged to inquire on the website. Organizers are even planning certain times to be pet friendly, where you can include your furry friend in the photo fun.

Adults - $28 for peak times and $19 for off-peak times
Children - $16 at all times
