Feed The CLE

Feed the CLE

Q104 is continuing to support the Greater Cleveland Food Bank with a push to collect donations in order to FEED THE CLE and support Backpack for Kids.

Throughout the school year, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank partners with school and non-profit after school programs to provide children with food to take home over the weekend.

Each week, our partner sites receive bags of food for the children participating in the program. The bags of food are sent home with each child on Fridays to sustain them through the weekend. The program is operated with respect for the children’s confidentiality.

How can you help?

A BackPack costs just $2.92, and it provides enough food our a child for the weekend. Through your generous donations to the BackPack for Kids Program you will be partnering with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank to help us reach children in a safe accessible environment who are at-risk for hunger.

Click here to donate. The Food Bank needs it now more than ever. The easiest way to give is through the website.

Here are some of the ways you can Feed The CLE.

  1. peanut butter
  2. tuna
  3. canned vegetables
  4. canned soup
  5. beef stew
  6. cereal
